If your truck shows symptoms such as uneven steering, whining noises, difficulty turning, or fluid leaks, it’s time to have your steering box inspected.
They provide gearbox repair (including removal and installation), replacement of leaking hoses, power steering pump replacement, and rebuilding of steering components (gear boxes, rack and pinions) for heavy-duty trucks, buses, motor coaches and more.
Remanufactured steering gearboxes: 12-month warranty
Power steering pumps: 3-month warranty
Power steering assist cylinders: 1-year warranty
PTO dump pumps: 6-month warranty
Units that have been disassembled, altered, misused, or improperly installed are not covered under warranty.
Returns are not accepted in general. A core deposit is charged for steering gearboxes; the deposit will be refunded upon receipt of your original core—provided it meets certain conditions (no damage, scratches, etc.).
You must send the core within 15 days; otherwise, the core deposit is forfeited.

They specialize in repairing and rebuilding parts from leading brands such as Sheppard, TRW, Ross, and ZF.
Depending on complexity and the vehicle, it usually takes 2 to 4 hours to replace a power steering pump on a bus.
Once a package leaves their facility and is in the carrier’s possession, Peña Power Steering is not liable for its loss or delay.
If your package is lost, you should file a claim with the carrier. They can assist you with the process, but they do not cover the loss.
